I tried for months to figure this out and it just happened by accident dealing with a totally unrelated issue. I FOUND A SOLUTION!! I really hope it helps anyone else out there dealing with this issue. It's the right password and when I select the error fix on that account, the password window pops up and it's blank. It seems like the problem is the mail app for the account I created using advanced settings won't remember the password. I tried POP & IMAP and still wouldn't work, even with changing up the settings. I've read a bunch of posts and gmail's official settings for in/outgoing mail servers, still couldn't NONE of my 7 gmail accounts have that option (except the one that I setup using advancedĪfter deleting an account and adding it using advanced settings, no matter what settings I try, the mail app says there's a problem with that account. I also saw a few posts that said go to settings>manage accounts>(select account you want)>sync settings> and there you should see "name you want to use to send email". I want to be able to specify what name it shows for each Make Sure Gmail Has Push Notification Permissions. Check Global Notification Settings on Android and iOS. It works great but the one thing I don't like is it uses my name as the sender (along with the email address). Use a Different Browser to Eliminate Chrome as a Suspect. I am using Windows 10 mail app with all my gmail accounts, to keep them in one place.
